6 May park initially was called several names – Alexandrovsky, City Garden, Pioneer Park. In honor of the Adjarian Revolution of 2004, when Aslan Abashidze was dismissed, the name of 6th of May was given. You will be greeted by a huge tree planted by Alexander the 3rd himself at the entrance to the park
