Cable road in TbilisiNew Cable road in Tbilisi centre was opened on June 18th of 2012 which is linking old city with Narikala Fortress. Cable road was built by Leitner Ropeways Company. Narikala is located on the top of steep Sololaki ridge; it is difficult to climb on it or to get there by car. The best way to get there is cable road – comfortable and opening an amazing view will seduce fear of heights.

Cable road today consist of seven cabins – gondola, each is suitable for 8 people. Working daily from 11:00am to 23:00pm, fare is 2.5 GEL (1$). Discount system for students and retiree foresaw.

And even if you don’t want to visit Narikala fortress, it is necessary to take a ride on gondola by cable road. Each of cabins has glass base floor. You will get a bird eye view from the cabin on Tbilisi taking your breath away.

Cable road is helping you to visit all outskirts’ of the city. To see from an opposite side famous historical buildings of old city. The most top point is at a height of 90km from the surface.
