DAY-BY-DAY EXPERIENCES
Day 1 – Arrive to Kutaisi
Arrival and Meeting in Kutaisi airport.
Transfer to the hotel. Check in.
Overnight in the hotel in Kutaisi.
Day 2 – Kutaisi city tour and wine tasting
Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast we start Kutaisi city tour and first stop is:
- Holy Virgin Gelati Monastery built by David IV the Builder in 1106 and become his burial vault. Monastery is a world cultural heritage since 1994.
- Furthermore comes Motsameta monastery (Monastery of St. David and Konstantin) – one of the famous sight not only Kutaisi but the whole Georgia. Monastery was constructed on mountain, where Georgian dukes David and Konstantin Mkheidze who refused to accept the Islam were executed by Muslim invaders. Magnificent temple and monastery “Motsameta” was founded here in XI century, which means “martyrs” in honor of princes David and Konstantine who are ranked as saints of Georgia Church.
- Then follows Bagrat Temple built in the reign of Bagrat III, as a main temple of united Georgian Kingdom and consecrated in honor of Assumption of Virgin in 1003.
- Wine tasting. We will be offered several sort of natural Georgian wines

Day 3 – Wine trip to Kakheti
Breakfast in the hotel. We will head off to Kakheti early in the morning. Today you will get acquaintance with Kakheti the main wine corner of Georgia. You will be surprised how historical sights harmonize with grape family lowlands, how city-scape conflow with country scene. First stop will be Signakhi – a city of love and a small Georgian Italy.
We will walk with you through narrow streets, along mountain terraces, which curl up or down. We will rise on the fortress wall, which is unusually similar to the Great Wall of China and enjoy fantastic views of the Alazani Valley covered with vineyards and mountain peaks.
Further we will visit the city of Gurdjaani, which is located between Signakhi and Telavi. It is in Gurdjaani the main types of Georgian grapes are grown. Experienced professionals will acquaint you with the technology of Georgian wine making and then will be vine tasting and lunch.
And the final stop on Kakheti in our journey will be the famous wine store – the Kvareli Tunnel, which are famous due its wine list. To date, about 25,000 wines are in the tunnel. And the most famous wines: Kindzmarauli, Saperavi, Khareba, Tsolikauri, Rkatsiteli, Tsinandali, Alazani Valley, Mukuzani and many others. In fact, the wine assortment is too rich, the restaurant serves excellent dishes, and the nature is indescribably beautiful, so your trip to Kakheti will leave the most pleasant impressions in your heart.

Day 4 – Free day
Breakfast in the hotel. Free morning. In the afternoon way back to Kutaisi.
