Description of tour “Entertainment week in Georgia”
Trip Route: Kutaisi – Martvili – Salkhino – Okatse – Batumi – Kutaisi
DAY-BY-DAY EXPERIENCES
Day 1 – Arrive in Kutaisi
Arrival and Meeting in Kutaisi airport.
Transfer to the hotel. Check in.
Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 2 – Trip to Okatse canyon and Prometheus Cave
Breakfast in the hotel.
This is an entertainment week in Georgia so we are heading off to Okatse canyon. Waterfall was considered to be inaccessible place not so long ago and only a few tourists were able to visit the most beautiful sight of Khoni region. Wild, intact nature surrounds National park, canyon and waterfall. Canyon’s length is 16km, depth approximately 50m. 1km long 140m high strained bridge is overhang over canyon. Sightseeing platform located at the end of bridge. Get ready to pen portrait since from a bird’s eye view opens stipend view on mountains, river and surroundings.
Furthermore moving and surveying one more sight – Prometheus Cave, where young man who stole fire from Gods, was chained. 11m length cave and the temperature is approximate 140. Formation from stalactite and stalagmite are illuminated in the cave for this reason it is possible to distinguish fancy animals.
Way back to Kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 3 – Trip to Martvili and Salkhino
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we are moving to Salkhino – former summer residence of Dadiani dukes. There is a little church built by Katsia the second Dadiani duke of Megrelia in 1782. There is a poem written on one colon by Katsia the second Dadiani dedicated to Holy Mother. We will walk in nature and will visit Odzhaleshi vineyard. It is a very rare wine variety and the wine here is made by monks.
Furthermore moving towards Martvili; Monastery located in Martvili is a family vault of famous Mingrelian dukes of Dadiani. If you wish you can visit monastery, since we have an amusement tour than we are heading to Martvili canyon. Martvili Canyons the main sight of Martvili region, which are discovered recently, but have already, become the popular rest place for tourists and locals. Beautiful canyon is eroded by limestones of Abasha River and consists of two part – Upper and Lower, washed out by mud flat. In the upper part are floating the boat, in the lower part walking and swimming. It is always chill at canyon, even in the hottest summer day.
Moving to Batumi. Overnight in the hotel in Batumi.
Day 4 – Free day in Batumi
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day.
Entertainment week is run on you can get some UVs in the beach or make a walk in the city. In the evening when the heat will go down we will pick up a boat and have a hour-long ride. You can enjoy all the beauty of our city from the seaward and print all the beauty on the memory.
Overnight in the hotel in Batumi.
Day 5 – Trip to Mtirala Park
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we are going to Mtirala National Park into nature. We are heading off to mountains and will have a little picnic at Mountain River. You can plunge into cool water meanwhile top-quality national dishes will be preparing for you in restaurant.
Overnight in the hotel in Batumi.
Day 6 – Departure from Batumi
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check out. Transfer to the airport.
