DAY-BY-DAY EXPERIENCES
Day 1 – Arrive in Tbilisi
Arrival and Meeting in Tbilisi airport.

Day 2 – Tbilisi city tour
Breakfast in the hotel. City tour in Tbilisi
Walking through narrows old Tbilisi streets, visit the fortress Narikala complex IV century in Old Tbilisi, the Metekhi temple with panoramic views of the old city; The Sioni Cathedral is the main temple of Tbilisi; The Anchiskhati church is the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi, will visit the biggest temple of Tbilisi – Holy Trinity Temple, placed on St. Ilia hill.

Day 3 – Trip to Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Mtskheta and we will visit one of main Georgian orthodox temple – Cathedral Svetitskhoveli, built on site where the first Christian church of Twelve Apostle was founded in XI century. Then follows Samtavro-Church of Transfiguration complex and St. Nino nunnery; stop on the top of mountain, at confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari, where is one of magnificent Georgian architecture monument – Jvari Monastery (translated as a cross).
After Mtskheta we will visit one of the rarest monuments all over the world – ancient Uplistsikhe cave town, carved into volcanic rocks of Kvernaki edge. First was mentioned in I century BC chronicle and reached its heyday by IX-X centuries. City fascinates with its unusual appearance.

Day 4 – Trip to Ananuri and Gergeti
Breakfast in the hotel. We will go along the Georgian military road to the village of Stepantsminda, until 2007 was called Kazbegi. On the way we will visit the Ananuri historical church and enjoy the Zhinvali water reservoir. The gaze opens with a giant water mirror in which the heavens are reflected. The man-made lake is beautiful in any season of the year. Next, we will met majestic ancient fortress of Ananuri. The fortress lost its strategic importance, and the castle came to desolation. However, the fortress walls, the tower and three churches – impress visitors with the solidity of the design, harmonious silhouette and elegant decor. You will be delighted with the greatness of Ananuri, the special atmosphere and spirit of this place.
After Ananuri we will have an extraordinary journey along the Military-Georgian road to Mount Kazbegi and the Trinity Church in Gergeti. There is a legend that if a person is good, he will see Kazbegi in all its glory, if it is bad, the mountain will hide the top in the clouds and won’t see it as its own ears. Trinity Church is considered to be a very strong, praying place, people come here to ask about getting rid of the ailments and, they say, helps.

Day 5 – Trip to David Gareja
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we will visit the working friary David Gareja, which is located about 80km far from Tbilisi; one foot in Georgia, the other in Azerbaijan and the whole world under you. Half of the Caucasus and even Karabakh are visible. Furthermore the monastery destroyed in the 17th century a complex of 20 churches, more than 100 caves in which are cells, refectory with frescoes of the 8th-14th centuries with portraits of historical figures, including a portrait of Queen Tamara. In one of the caves there is a spring of David’s tear – healing water, which oozes from the cave arch.
