Daba St. George’s Church one of the ancient temple of Georgia and is located I dense forest, like a bird in his nest and is not visible from the road. Church is half way covered by cave. Legend carved on the east gate telling that church in Daba was constructed in 1333 by “molaretukhutsesi” i.e. chief of public treasury Gerge the Vth Brtskinvale (Magnificent).
The church is hall church with two front entrance from north and west, the first one is flat one another is decorated by ornament and arch. There are no doors in the church. There is a legend that the doors were built several times but with no result they were felt down always.
