Presidential Palace in Tbilisi is the Palace of President of Georgia in Avlabari, build during 2004-2009 according to project of Georgi Batiashvili and Michele de Lucchi. Architectural complex was given its name from historical area of Tbilisi where it is located. Gorgeous building is classicism style with Greek, Rome architect elements and Italian Rennes séance. Facade is decorated by three high colonnades. And over central part is uplifted great glassy dome. Inside it there is a hall for red carpet treatment.
Holy Trinity cathedral is located near Avlabari Residence. The best view is opening on the Presidential Palace from the far shore of Kura – from the walls of Narikala fortress on top of Mtatsminda mountain. It is prohibited to take a picture of palace from near distance. But it is possible to visit the Palace within organized excursion. There is a museum on the entry level of residence, where you can view gifts and presents to Georgian President from official delegations. In the back yard you can view mosaics describes general stages of country history.
